Happy Resurrection Sunday!

What is Resurrection Sunday all about? Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, crucified as the sacrifice for our sins, arose from the dead in victory today! We celebrate the truth of who He is and what He did for us.

Interestingly, Paul is encouraging Timothy to share the same message because unfortunately, others have been sharing a false one. Read 1 Timothy 1:3-4.

As I urged you upon my departure for Macedonia, remain on at Ephesus so that you may instruct certain men not to teach strange doctrines, nor to pay attention to myths and endless genealogies, which give rise to mere speculation rather than furthering the administration of God which is by faith.

Mere speculation. So ridiculous considering there are still plenty of people alive at that time who would have witnessed the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. We do not have to speculate, we can know. Timothy is to share the truth with others. And so are we!
