2 Chronicles 33:10–The Lord spoke to Manasseh and his people, but they paid no attention.
How often would this sentence describe us? The Lord desires that we have a relationship with Him, but sometimes we just try to ignore God and give Him the silent treatment. With Manasseh, eventually God stopped trying to talk to Him and just brought judgment. Then through captivity Manasseh started to listen to God. When we don’t pay attention to God, what will it take for God to get our attention?
Father, I will pay attention to You, I will listen to Your voice and obey Your commands. I will choose today to not be guilty of ignoring You.
