Child-like faith is a subject that is frequently talked about in the Bible. But what does that look like? See Psalm 131.

O Lord , my heart is not proud, nor my eyes haughty; Nor do I involve myself in great matters, Or in things too difficult for me.
Psalms 131:1 NASB

The psalm goes on to talk about resting like a weaned child in its mother’s lap. When we are resting in God, we have faith that he will take care of every situation. We are content simply to be with him. In that situation, we can’t be proud or haughty. We don’t try to involve ourselves in things that are bigger then we are. We are content simply to be with the one who made us and the one who loves us. Are we content be where God has us, when God has us there?
