Galatians 2:20–I have been crucified with Christ; and it’s no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
How do we live the Christian life? We don’t. This verse explains that when we come to Jesus, we die; our sinful nature and desires are all put to death. Now Christ lives in us and lives through us, doing all the things that He desires, but that we can’t do on our own. What is the Christian life? It is us sacrificing all that we are to Christ and then trusting Him to live through us each moment of every day.
Lord, I have sacrificed myself so that You may live through me. I pray that today I will get my dead self out of the way so that every action that comes through me would be from You. By faith, I desire for You to be the only thing seen in my life.
