Read 1 John chapter 5

VERSE:

1 John 5:11-12–And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has the life, whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

TRUTH:

Here it is, the basics of the gospel message. God has given eternal life through His Son. If you have the Son, you have the life. If you don’t, you don’t. Everything boils down to the relationship with Jesus Christ. What do we believe and what will we do with Jesus Christ? God’s gift of eternal life depends on our answer to that question.

RESPONSE:

Father, You are the giver of eternal life and that gift comes through Your Son, Jesus. You give life and I will trust in You. Only through my relationship with Jesus will I receive the eternal life that is promised.
