VERSE:
Isaiah 46:10–Declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things which have not been done, saying, ‘My purpose will be established, and I will accomplish all My good pleasure.’

TRUTH:
God is good and gracious and He is over all things. Here God is declaring that His purpose is the only one that matters. He will do all that He desires to do. Nothing will stand in the way of His good pleasure. When things come up in our life that we were not expecting, God is not surprised. More than that, God’s purpose is not in jeopardy because of these “unexpected” issues. He will continue to work and move for His pleasure which will always be accomplished.

RESPONSE:
Lord, sometimes it is difficult to understand and wait on Your purposes, but I will have faith that Your purpose and Your good pleasure will be accomplished in every circumstance.
