Genesis 6:18–But I will establish my covenant with you, and you will enter the ark–you and your sons and your wife and your sons wives with you.
When God told Noah to build and enter the ark, He didn’t give him all the specifics about what this covenant would mean and what blessing that he would receive. God simply stated that He would establish a covenant with Noah. God doesn’t always explain all the particulars when He asks us to do something. Sometimes, He simply expects us to be obedient. However, as we are obedient, God will never forget us or not hold up His end of the deal. When God promises us something, we can know that God will do all that He has promised. Will we trust Him?
Father, I will follow You and I will praise You. I know that You are the one who will do all that You said You will do. I will trust You and be obedient to all that You have for me to do.
