VERSE:
Leviticus 16:21–And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness.

TRUTH:
Even then, the people of Israel had to have a scapegoat who would be punished and cast out in their place for the sins that they committed. Sin has a price and that must be paid, even now. Jesus was the ultimate scapegoat. All he sins of the world were placed on Him and He was separated from the Father and died. All this so that we could be made right with God and our transgressions paid for.

RESPONSE:
Father, I love You. You have given a scapegoat to carry away my transgressions. You are perfect and still paid the price for my sins. Thank You!
