Christian Devotional – December 9, 2012

VERSE:
Acts 22:1–Paul, looking intently at the council said, “Brethren, I have lived my life with a perfectly good conscience before God up to this day.”

TRUTH:
Paul had submitted his life to God and he was living each day being directed by the Holy Spirit. As a result, Paul had no regrets about his Christian life. That is quite a bold statement and one that I’m not sure I’d be ready to make. Still, it is encouraging to know that no what our past includes, by placing our trust in Jesus and allowing Him to live through us each moment of each day, we can have no regrets.

RESPONSE:
Father, Your forgiveness is so complete and Your restoration is so long lasting. But, even more than that, Your day-to-day instruction and guidance leads me down the correct paths if I will just follow You. You are the reason Paul could say He had no regrets, I want to follow and obey You as well.

EXTRA:
Today we’re talking about the Birth of Jesus with the Sisters in Cahoots. Check it out and see that God fulfills His promises.
