1 Chronicles 5:20–They were helped in fighting them, and God delivered the Hagities and all their allies into their hands because they cried out to him during the battle.
Are we crying out to God when we are going through difficulties? The Lord Himself delivered the people of Gad from their enemies because they cried out to Him. Do we rely on Him or try to do things on our own? What would a summary of our battles say? “They lost and were defeated because they clung to only themselves and not God.” Or instead, “They were victorious because they trusted in God.”
Father, I will cling to You and cry out to You in the midst of everything I go through. You can defeat my foes and I will trust in You through all things, even the everyday battles I face.
