Christian Devotional – January 7, 2013

VERSE:
Leviticus 24:22–There shall be one standard for you; it shall be for the stranger as well as the native, for I am the Lord your God.

TRUTH:
One standard, one set of rules. The Lord wants the people to know that they will be held to the same standard regardless of who they are or where they are from. Are we keeping ourselves in line with that one standard?

RESPONSE:
Lord, You have a one standard and one measure for all people. Forgive me for when I have tried to separate people into levels or classes. You love all people and expect the same from all of them.
