Christian Devotional – July 26, 2013

VERSE:

Jeremiah 27:5–With my great power and outstretched arm I made the earth and its people and the animals that are on it, and I give it to anyone I please.

TRUTH:

Never doubt that God is the one who created all and is actively involved in directing things today. He does not sit back and take an uninterested view of the world. He created it and He is in control of the path that things go down. We may not understand His timing and we may not understand how the consequences of sin affect everything, but we can hold fast to the knowledge that He is in control of all He created.

RESPONSE:

Father, Your power is beyond my understanding. You truly are awesome and mighty. The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. I will praise You and trust You that no matter what , You are in control.
