Christian Devotional – July 30, 2012
VERSE:
Isaiah 38:20–“The Lord will surely save me; so we will play my songs on stringed instruments all the days of our life at the house of the Lord.”
TRUTH:
King Hezekiah found out he was dying so he called upon the Lord. This verse shows the faith and confidence that he had in the Lord and in His healing powers. Hezekiah know he would praise the Lord and that he would be continuing to praise Him. The Lord did indeed save him. When we face difficulties, we can put our faith and trust in God who is over everything and able to save all things.
RESPONSE:
Father, I praise You. I know that no matter what happens, You are able to save me. I will praise You and sing songs to You no matter what.
