Christian Devotional – July 4, 2012

VERSE:
Isaiah 12:1–The you will say on that day, “I will give thanks to You, O Lord; for although You were angry with me, Your anger is turned away, and You comfort me.”

TRUTH:
What does salvation mean? God was angry with me and I deserved death, His anger was turned away and now through His grace, He comforts and cares for me That is the essence of what is means to be saved by grace. We have such freedom and hope through God’s salvation. That is certainly something to give thanks for.

RESPONSE:
Father, through Your grace and mercy, You have shown Your love and salvation to me. I will give thanks to You and praise You and live out today my thanks for the freedom your mercy provided me.
