Christian Devotional – July 9, 2015

Read 1 Samuel chapter 3

VERSE:

1 Samuel 3:10–The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” Then Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.”

TRUTH:

How many times does God have to call us before we start to listen to what God has to say? Each day God is seeking us and desiring to communication with us so that we can learn more about Him and glorify Him even more. Are we listening or do we get confused about who may be calling us? We must learn to hear God’s voice in our lives and respond to Him with listening ears.

RESPONSE:

Father, I desire to hear Your voice. I want to know what You have to say to me in my life, even if I don’t understand everything at the time. I will listen for Your voice today and respond for I am Your servant.
