Christian Devotional – June 17, 2014

Read 1 John chapter 2

VERSE:

1John 2:28–And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming.

TRUTH:

Would you want Jesus with you today? We are to continue in Him so we would not be ashamed at His coming. What if He came today Is there anything you would be doing that you would do differently knowing Jesus would sit beside you? Would you alter your TV shows or your business meetings or your dinner plans? We are to continue through each day as though we are confident and unashamed of Him regardless of what He would find us doing each day.

RESPONSE:

Father, I know You are with me always, but sometimes I forget that and don’t act like it. I pray You will keep me focused on You so that no matter what I am doing, I will be confidently continuing in You.
