Christian Devotional – March 7, 2018

Ever want to be rescued? I think many of us have found ourselves in situations that we didn’t expect and weren’t ready for and as a result we needed saving. David had the same experience. He had people who were chasing him and wanted to kill him, but the Lord delivered him and now her uses Psalm 18 to sing His praises.

He brought me forth also into a broad place; He rescued me, because He delighted in me.

Why did God rescue him? God delighted in him. It’s so wonderful to think about God delighting in us as well. He delights in all His children. As a result, He saves us. He is our rescuer from all the difficult situations in life and He helps us to stand, even when r don’t think we would be able to. Will we allow Him to rescue us today?
