The Message – #40

Wait for the Lord. No one really likes waiting very much. We want what we want, and we want it now. However, for those who are willing to be content and rest in Him, there is great reward. Read Isaiah chapter 40, focusing on verse 31.

Yet those who wait for the Lord Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.
Isaiah 40:31 NASB

If we will wait on Him, we will find strength. We will be able to fly when we need to, run when we need to, and walk when we need to. God will give us everything when need, exactly when we need it if we will just wait on Him.

How well do we wait on the Lord? Are we willing to allow Him the opportunity to work and move in our lives however He wants to and whenever He wants to? Only through Christ moving in us will we experience the strength of the Lord in our lives.
