Read 2 Timothy chapter 2

VERSE:

2 Timothy 2:22–Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

TRUTH:

Flee and pursue. We must flee the evil desires that try to overtake us. They will not leave on their own. Also, righteousness, faith, love, and peace don’t just show up in our lives. We must go after them and seek after them. Also, we must do both at the same time. We must choose to flee evil and pursue righteousness. Will we be on who calls on God out of a pure heart.

RESPONSE:

Father, set my eyes on the things of You so that You may be glorified through my life. I pray that You will help me recognize evil and turn and flee from it. I desire Your righteousness and I will seek after that.
