No wasted opportunities. Paul never wanted to waste an opportunity to share the gospel. Read Galatians 4:12-14.

I beg of you, brethren, become as I am, for I also have become as you are. You have done me no wrong; but you know that it was because of a bodily illness that I preached the gospel to you the first time; and that which was a trial to you in my bodily condition you did not despise or loathe, but you received me as an angel of God, as Christ Jesus Himself.

Paul was ill. We don’t know why or how, but he shares here that he was not well when he came and met the Galatians. Yet, he did not allow that to stop him from sharing the gospel with them. He used it as an opportunity to make sure that the gospel was delivered to the people. And the people also were not bothered by whatever Paul’s illness was. They received him.

Are we looking for opportunities to share the gospel? Do we take setbacks or trials as excuses for not sharing, or do we see them as extra special opportunities to be able to share? God allows things to happen in our lives to ensure that we are exactly where he wants us to be at exactly the right time. Are we looking for those opportunities? Don’t ever waste an opportunity to share the message that God has given us.
