Psalm 139:14–I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made, wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it very well.

We are crafted by God. Each and every fiber of our being knit lovingly in place by the One who knows all. We are each special and unique and God loves us very much. Do we discount the work of God in making us who we are, or do we give Him the praise for each part that is created in His image, even the ones we don’t understand or don’t like? We are God’s workmanship. His workmanship is wonderful, and we are to give Him thanks.

Lord, I don’t always understand why You made me the way You did, with certain traits and characteristics. Nevertheless, I am Your creation and I will praise You with all that I am and all that You’ve made me to be. I know that Your creation lines up with Your word and that only those traits which are in line with Your word are from You. I will praise You.
