Christian Devotional – December 8, 2010
VERSE:
Genesis 13:8–So Abram said to Lot, “Please let there be no strife between you and me, nor between your herdsmen and my herdsmen, for we are brothers.”
TRUTH:
Abram desired peace and harmony between him and his family. He was willing to sacrifice the first and best choice of the available land to be able to achieve this. Do we want peace? What are we willing to sacrifice to achieve it?”
RESPONSE:
Lord, my desire is for there to be peace in all situations. Help me know what and when to sacrifice to be able to achieve it.
