Devotional – July 15, 2011

VERSE:
1 Corinthians 4:1–Let a man regard us in this manner, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.

TRUTH:
When others look at us, what do they see? What they should see is servants and stewards. Do they feel served and cared for when they are around us? Do they sense that we have something that they do not understand? Does our relationship with Christ fill our whole lives so that others can’t help be see it?

RESPONSE:
Lord, I pray that I will be surrendered to You today so that people see only You through me. I want them to recognize that I am nothing more or less than Your servant.
