Devotional – July 16, 2011

VERSE:
1 Corinthians 5:6–Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump of dough?

TRUTH:
The sins that we do, they don’t affect only us, but others as well. Even just the small wrongs that we do can make a huge impact. We must be careful to not allow our sin to continue, but bring it to God so He can cleanse us and make us whole.

RESPONSE:
Lord, help me to look at my life as You see it. Remove any areas that are not pleasing to You.
