Devotional – July 17, 2011

VERSE:
1 Corinthians 6:19–Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?

TRUTH:
Many of us have been told this, but do we live like we actually believe Christ and His Spirit live in us? He not only lives in us, but He is master of our body. Do we treat Him as a welcome master or do we constantly try to rebel against His ownership?

RESPONSE:
Lord, help me submit to You will in everything regarding my body, from what I eat to how I dress and the actions I do. May everything bring glory to You.
