Devotional – May 4, 2011

VERSE:
Song of Solomon 3:2–‘I must arise now and go about the city; In the streets and in the squares I must seek him whom my soul loves.’ I sought him but did not find him.

TRUTH:
The beloved sought after her bridegroom until she eventually found him a couple of verses later. Are we that persistent in our relationship with God? With our spouse? Do we desire to be with them and are we disappointed when they are not around?

RESPONSE:
Lord, help me to seek after You diligently in all areas. He me seek after my husband in all areas as well so that we may be united in all we do.
