Devotional – May 6, 2011

VERSE:
Song of Solomon 5:16–His mount is full of sweetness. And he is wholly desirable. This is my beloved and this is my friend. O daughters of Jerusalem.

TRUTH:
If our beloved were to describe us, would they say that the words that come out of our mouths are full of sweetness? Do we describe ourselves as friends and not just lovers?

RESPONSE:
Lord, help me to be more of a friend to my husband and for my words to him and about him to be full of sweetness.
