Devotional – November 12, 2011

VERSE:
Psalm 109:4–In return for my love they act as my accusers; But I am in prayer.

TRUTH:
We have all been let down or betrayed by people. David was no exception. How did he respond? He brought it to the Lord in prayer? He didn’t hold back his feelings or frustration from God, but he didn’t act on them. He allowed God to handle the situation. Do we express our frustration to God, or do we share with everyone around us? Do we allow God to deal with the situation?

RESPONSE:
Lord, I will bring my frustration and feelings of betrayal to You. You know how I feel, and I will trust You to deal with all situations and people involved. I place my complete trust in You.
