Psalm 126:5-6–Those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting. He who goes to and fro weeping, carrying his bag of seed, shall indeed come again with a shout of joy bringing his sheaves with him.
The Lord’s timing is perfect, yet often we do not understand it. This verse doesn’t mean that we should go about crying all the time, but it does mean that we will hurt at times. We will face disappointment and loss. Yet, God is there through it all and He knows the perfect timing for all things. We can have joy even through the pain knowing that God is bringing about His results in His timing; and His results are always cause for shouts of joy!
Lord, take the tears and the sorrows and the hurts. Sow them with Your love and understanding and timing so that I may have Your joy no matter what happens, knowing that Your harvest is always better than my plans.
