Christian Devotional – November 5, 2010

VERSE:
John 1:17–For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ.

TRUTH:
Moses was given the Law to allow us to see God’s standard of perfection. If we compare ourselves to the law, none of us measure up. Jesus Christ came in Truth, the Truth that allowed Him to fulfill God’s standard of perfection. He also came in Grace, the Grace that offers to share that Truth with us who would submit our lives to Him.

RESPONSE:
Lord, Your grace is amazing and Your truth is perfection. Thank You for taking my imperfection and giving me Your grace!
