Devotional – September 25, 2011

VERSE:
Romans 2:13–for it is not the hearers of the law who are justified before God, but the doers of the law will be justified.

TRUTH:
God’s law is perfect and the only way to be right with God is to practice all of it perfectly. Since we can’t hope to do that, thankfully Jesus Christ came and lived the life that God demanded of us so that through His sacrifice we might be made right with God. Still just hearing about this sacrifice is not enough. We must accept it as our own.

RESPONSE:
Lord, help me to share Your love with all so they will make the choice to follow You, not just hear about You. That is the the only way to be made right before You.
