Read Psalm chapter 6 VERSE: Psalm 6:4–Turn, Lord, and deliver me; save me because of your unfailing love. TRUTH: Sometimes we misunderstand why God saves us. He doesn’t offer us salvation because of how good we are or how bad we are. He doesn’t do it because we ask or beg Him. He doesn’t even do it because we deserve it or because He owes us for some reason. He loves us and His love is unfailing. VERSE: Exodus 14:31–And when the Israelites saw the mighty hand of the Lord displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared the Lord and put their trust in him and in Moses his servant. TRUTH: The Lord had one final mighty miracle to put an exclamation point on the deliverance of the Israelites from Egypt. VERSE: Exodus 12:51–And in that very day the Lord brought the Israelites out of Egypt by their divisions. TRUTH: He promised it. Now, He is fulfilling it. However, the people had to make the choice to actually go. They had to pack up and choose to follow God into the unknown just because He promised them that it would be better.
