Ezekiel 9:10–So I will not look on them with pity or spare them, but I will bring down on their own heads what they have done.
When dealing with sin and evil, God cannot be something other than what He is. God is righteous and just. He is holy and pure. He cannot tolerate sin and He makes it clear here that He is going to allow people to experience the full consequences of the sin they have done. Are we repentant to God or are we prepared to receive the full consequences of the wrongs that we have done?
Father, You are holy. Without our repentance from the sins we’ve done, You are left with no alternative but judgment. I pray You will hold off on You judgment a little longer so that more people will recognize the need for forgiveness and will repent and come to You.
