Christian Devotional – August 23, 2018

Some days I catch myself wondering if the trials and difficulties ever end. Are there days when it’s easy? I’m sure the psalmist felt that way when he wrote Psalm 129.

“Many times they have persecuted me from my youth up; Yet they have not prevailed against me.

It can feel like we are only ever under attack. It can feel that we are all alone facing these times, but we’re not. God is with us and He is the one who continues to strengthen us and help us to stand firm in the face of difficulties. Are we standing strong in Him today?
