VERSE:
Isaiah 28:16–Therefore thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a tested stone, a costly cornerstone for the foundation, firmly placed. He who believes in it will not be disturbed.”

TRUTH:
Isaiah is speaking to people who have tried to make their own way of deliverance. Yet, the Lord tells them that their ways and plans will not remain. God has provided a way to endure and survive the coming judgment. He has placed a cornerstone, the key to the foundation, and those who will believe in it will be as immovable as the cornerstone itself. Jesus Christ is this stone. Through Him we can stand firm and be brought safely through God’s judgment.

RESPONSE:
Lord, thank You for providing a way to endure and make it through Your judgment for on my own I am not able to stand. You are the foundation for my whole life and I will build everything in my life on Your Son, Jesus Christ. Nothing I build outside of that will stand.
