Read Psalm chapter 110

Psalm 110:1–The Lord said to my lord, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”

This psalm, written by King David, tells of God’s promise as well as a prophecy. God did sit David on the throne and he did reign. However, this is also a prophecy of One who will come who will be greater than David. This One will be placed on the throne over all His enemies. This second “Lord” is Jesus Christ. He is placed at the right hand of God and will be over all enemies and will reign over all. Do we give Jesus the throne of our hearts each and every day.

Father, Your word is amazing and I will place You  on the throne of my heart. You hold that place in the universe and I will give You free reign over my life as well. Thank You for all You have done for me and for all You are doing and will do.
