The Righteous Man and the Wicked Man. Proverbs chapter 12 gives comparison between these two types of men. What does a righteous man do? What does he not do? How does he compare to a man who is Wicked? This chapter is full of examples that cover every area of life from how the man thinks to how he treats other people and even animals.

You see, the character of who we are impacts and drives every other aspect of our life. We cannot be thinking evil things and expect to act in a way that pleases God or enhances the lives of others around us. The opposite is true as well, for if we are not enhancing the lives of those around us, we need to realize that we are not living out the characteristics of righteousness. If we truly step back and examine our lives, which category do we really fall into? Which type of person are we? If we find ourselves falling more in line with the wicked, we must repent and give control of our heart to God, for through us, He desires to live out His righteousness.
