Devotional – March 24, 2012

VERSE:
Habakkuk 1:5–“Look among the nations! Observe! Be astonished! Wonder! Because I am doing something in your days you would not believe if you were told.”

TRUTH:
The Lord is speaking to the prophet Habakkuk and indicates that He is moving, but not in the way people would expect. How often that is true today. We do not see what God is dong for two reasons. First, we’re not looking for Him. Second, if we do look, we’re looking in the wrong place. We must be looking for what god is doing, realizing that it may not be exactly what we were expecting.

RESPONSE:
Father, You are God and know what is best. I pray that You will continue to move around me and this world. Help me to see You and all that You are doing, even when it’s not what I expect.
