Read Psalm chapter 118 VERSE: Psalm 118:6–The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me? TRUTH: What do we fear? What are the things around us that we envision happening to us that bring fear into our lives? The Lord is God and He has promised to be with us. We are in His presence and because of that, we don’t need to be afraid. There is nothing that people can do to us that is outside of God’s knowledge and He is with us through everything. Read Deuteronomy chapter 31 VERSE: Deuteronomy 31:8–The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” TRUTH: We are never alone. No matter how alone we feel, God has promised to always be there for us. He not only stays with us, but He leads the way as He goes before us. We don’t have to ever be afraid or discouraged. Do we rest in the knowledge that God is with us?
