Read Zephaniah chapter 3 VERSE: Zephaniah 3:17–The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing. Read Zephaniah chapter 1 VERSE: Zephaniah 1:2–“I will sweep away everything from the face of the earth,” declares the Lord. TRUTH: As we turn to another book of prophecy, we see very quickly the totality of the power of God. He starts out by declaring that he is going to be bringing judgment on the entire earth. What I find so amazing here is that He is able to do that. We see the overwhelming power of the God of the universe. He’s not just some being that we worship that is “out there” somewhere.
