Christian Devotional – October 21, 2010

VERSE:
Ruth 3:1–Then Naomi her mother-in-law said to her ‘My daughter shall I not seek security for you that it may be well with you?’

TRUTH:
Ruth was Naomi’s sole source of support, yet Naomi decided to try and better Ruth’s situation. When we are able to help others to better themselves, do we? Even if it costs us something?

RESPONSE:
Lord, help me to always be looking for ways to help others, regardless of what it costs me.
