The new self. Read Colossians 3:9-11.

After dealing with the list of all the ways sin corrupts us, it can be easy to struggle with the idea of what to do next. How can we possibly overcome? God created a way for us to be able to overcome our sins and that is through Jesus Christ. Because of his sacrifice, we can get rid of our old self and put on a new self, him.

As we allow Jesus Christ to live through us, we understand how to love those we thought were unlovable. We see how to forgive those who hurt us. All because Christ does those things through us. Are we putting on the new self and allowing Christ to live through us today?
