Christian Devotional – January 10, 2013

VERSE:
Leviticus 27:34–These are the commandments which the Lord commanded Moses for the sons of Israel at Mount Sinai.

TRUTH:
As this book concludes, the Lord summarizes this whole book into this one statement. These are the commandments which God gave the people. God does require things from us. He has standards and requirements for all people. Are we on the lookout for opportunities to be obedient to Him?

RESPONSE:
Lord, You do have expectations for how we are to be obedient to You. Thankfully, even though I fall short on my own, through Your Son Jesus Christ I can meet these expectations and allow Jesus to live that perfect life through me to be obedient to all that You have for me.
