Christian Devotional – December 28, 2012
My apologies for the late posting. Due to some technical difficulties, I wasn’t able to post this morning.
VERSE:
Leviticus 14:20–The priest shall offer up the burnt offering and the grain offering on the altar. Thus the priest shall make atonement for him, and he will be clean.
TRUTH:
The people could not make atonement for themselves, they had to have a priest who did that for them. Thankfully, because of Jesus, we have someone who will make atonement for our sins on our behalf. Are we bringing ourselves to Him to make us clean? Or, are we still trying to cleanse ourselves?
RESPONSE:
Father, You have provided a way to cleanse me from my wrongs because I can’t do it on my own. Thank You for cleaning me and making me whole.
