Christian Devotional – November 30, 2012

VERSE:
Acts 14:22–strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith, and saying, “Through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.”

TRUTH:
We find strength and encouragement when we come together and share what God is doing in our lives. We need this time because we are going to go through many trials and tribulations as we walk in obedience to the Lord. Do we find the time to meet with others and encourage them? Do we go to others for encouragement and prayer as we walk through difficulties ourselves?

RESPONSE:
Lord, You are a wonderful encouragement to me and You have placed in my life some wonderful encouragers. Help me to trust them and lean on their strength as they lean on mine so that together we can walk through the many trials and tribulations we experience.
