HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

VERSE:
Acts 6:4–“But we will devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”

TRUTH:
The apostles had a responsibility to do, and God had tasked them with the job of teaching and proclaiming the word of God. Yet other responsibilities needed to be done, too. They learned that each person had a task to do to help further the message of the gospel. Are we taking our responsibilities to the service and message of God seriously and devoting ourselves to them?

RESPONSE:
Father, I will devote myself to the responsibility and plan that You have for me. I will devote myself to prayer. I will spread the message of Your Word. I pray You will work through me to accomplish Your purposes today and every day.
