Christian Devotional – November 16, 2012

VERSE:
Proverbs 31:8–Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all the unfortunate.

TRUTH:
What are we using our mouths for? Do we speak up for those who have no voice? Are we defending those who are less fortunate? We must be aware of those who are around us and speak up for and defend those who do not have a way to speak up and defend themselves.

RESPONSE:
Father, I want to use my mouth today for good. I know I have a responsibility to speak up for the rights of the unfortunate who do not have a voice. Give me the boldness to follow You in the way.
