Christian Devotional – November 15, 2012

VERSE:
Proverbs 30:5–Every word of God is tested; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.

TRUTH:
We can trust in God’s Word. He tells us that His Word has been tested. More than that, it is a protection and shield if we will choose to hide and take refuge in Him. The Lord will protect us and we can trust Him because He has said He will do that. However, we must choose to take refuge in Him. Are we relying on His protection or are we trying to build our own?

RESPONSE:
Father, I will rest in Your promises today. Your Word is true, You are faithful, and You are my shield. I will choose to take refuge in You and not try to stand on my own. I praise You for Your faithfulness and protection.
