Christian Devotional – August 16, 2012

VERSE:
Isaiah 55:9–For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts higher than your thoughts.

TRUTH:
God sees the big picture when it comes to the events and the happenings of this world. He sets everything in motion and He has a plan and purpose for all. We can trust Him and what He does and allows because He is higher than we are and His ways are higher than our ways. Do we trust Him that He knows best in our lives?

RESPONSE:
Lord, You are higher and holier than I am. Even when I do not understand, I know that You do and I will trust in Your plan for me.
