Christian Devotional – July 27, 2012

VERSE:
Isaiah 35:4–Say to those with anxious heart, “Take courage, fear not. Behold, your God will come with vengeance; the recompense of God will come, He will save you.

TRUTH:
What encouraging words for those who have been discontent and anxious! The Lord would have us take courage. He will come; He will save us! We who belong to the Lord have nothing to fear. Are we living each day filled with anxiety? Or, are we resting in the courage and salvation of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ?

RESPONSE:
Father, You are over all. I give You my anxious thought and my fears. I will take Your courage. You are my salvation.
